Med Tech Course
The Medication Technician class (Med Tech) prepares individuals to administer or assist with self-administration of medications in an assisted living facility. All students must currently be employed by a long term care facility at the time of the class.
There are two pretests; a math test and a reading comprehension test. Students need to pass the pretest in order to continue with the course. Initial students need $20 on a Mastercard or Visa to pay MBON for their license and $10 for uploading their picture to MBON the last day of class.
There are medication technician training programs specific to Juvenile Service, Developmental Disabilities, Assisted Living and School Health.
